Make the Seamless Bra Your Everyday Bra

Seamless bras are a "must have" in your wardrobe. Nothing looks better in tight clothing than smooth and invisible shaping. A good seamless bra will do wonders for your outfit and your figure.

Seamless bras are the number one "every day" bra. Seamless bras are often called the t-shirt bra because they are the year-round staple bra and can be worn even under the tightest clothing. They do not show through tops. They are comfortable. They provide streamline support. What more could you want?

Seamless bras come in a variety of styles. There are seamless sports bras, strapless bras, plunge bras, full figure bras, etc... Seamless bras have a variety of cups, too. Cups are foam, molded, unpadded, padded, lined, and unlined. The main idea is that they are smooth and invisible. The best seamless support bras are the molded and foam cup bras. They give that little extra lift to a plus sized woman. They also hide the dreaded nipple poke through effect.

Seamless bras, like any bra, work best when you wear the correct size. Get yourself fitted or do a self-measuring. Women can change sizes throughout the year, especially during the holidays. A good fitting bra will keep you healthy and supported. You also can avoid back fat and other bulges from a wrong sized bra.

In this tough economy, you need to be as professional as possible. Seamless bras help. They do not distract the focus. Men are very visual and can get distracted with a few bulges, lines, etc... Seamless bras look smooth and professional. People will not be thinking of your bra and the lines being conveyed. They will be thinking of you.

These bras are also great for modesty and confidence. When you put on a seamless bra, you have no worries. They are conservative because they are hidden. They help with confidence because you do not have to worry about your bra showing. You can just focus on the person you are with. There are times for a sexy lace bra but in the everyday world, you should wear a seamless bra.

You should have at least 3-5 everyday seamless bras. They are your everyday bra and you need enough in order to rotate and wash. Having enough seamless bras takes away the worry. They go with most outfits. They are supportive. They have no lines. A good seamless bra helps with modesty, confidence, professionalism, and shaping. Let everyone think of you and not your bra lines. A good seamless bra is the best way to be keep people focusing on you, not your chest.

Convertible Bras - A Must For Spring

The calendar has ticked over officially from the chill of winter to the warmth of spring. Okay, it hasn't exactly warmed up yet, but one can start planning for the warmer weather, right? From an undergarment perspective, convertible bras are the bra for the season.

As the weather warms up, the way your support the girls will change. All winter you've worn clothing that is all about covering as much skin as possible unless you live in Hawaii. If you do live in Hawaii, I am insanely jealous but that is a subject for another article. For the rest of us peasants, the winter is about coverage and keeping the girls warm. Spring changes all that.

Spring fashion is about showing a bit more skin. As temperatures warm up, you can exchange those turtlenecks for sleeveless tops and sun dresses. The full coverage bras you wore through winter don't exactly look great with such outfits. Depending on the cuts of your spring tops, you might need to go with a one strap or no strap bra. Conversely, you might need a racerback configuration that provides full support, but keeps the straps closer to the base of the neck. You can buy individual bras for all these looks, but going with a couple convertible bras might be a better choice.

What is a convertible bra? It is essentially what the name suggests. The bra has straps that can be removed or reconfigured. This makes the brassiere incredibly flexible when it comes to configuring it to particular tops. It can be tailored to practically any look by removing the straps, but the added benefit is the straps can often be moved inward or outward on the cups to create a different vertical line as the straps move up your chest, past the neck and down your back.

So, should you add just one convertible bra to your collection? Nope. Get a couple. What happens is you get used to the comfort and flexibility of the bra. Soon you'll start wearing it instead of your other bras. The wear and tear can make the bra fall apart quickly. To avoid this, find one convertible bra that fits well and is comfortable. Then buy a few of the bras so that you'll be able to switch the bras out between cleanings. Remember, you shouldn't wear a bra more than two days in a row without washing it.

Spring is a time to fling off those heavy, warm winter clothes. Replace your full coverage bras with convertible ones and you'll be set for just about any top you'll wear as the temperatures start to warm up.

Review of Goddess 6080 Rose Bras

The Goddess 6080 Rose Bras are the intended replacement bras for the Goddess 3010 Floral Lace Bras. The Goddess 6080 Rose Bras are wonderful for the fuller busted woman. They go up to a J cup size. They are basically the same bra as the Floral Lace but the flower pattern is a little different. It now has a rose pattern, hence the name change.

There are also a few slight differences that I have noticed between the Goddess 6080 Rose Bras and the Goddess 3010 Floral Lace Bras. There is an extra bit of material under the bra cups in the front of the bra in order to reinforce the underwires. The nude color is just a touch brighter. The straps and the top of the cups have a pretty gentle scalloped mesh edge on them. They are reinforced on the sides but without the extra side molding inside the cup. It makes for a smoother feel on the inside of the bras, plus more room for the girls. There is a smoother center gore without the thread pattern.

The majority of customers that try this bra absolutely love it. It is a very comfortable bra to wear all day. It has almost the same exact fit as the Floral Lace. It offers a lot of support. It has a nice design on it for a large cup bra. It has nice wide straps. It seems to have maximum support, uplift, and shaping. The wire casings are cushiony. Finally, it comes in a large range of sizes. The only thing is that some women want an extra smooth bra like a seamless bra.

The Goddess Rose has a variety of different features. It is a molded, 3 section, full cup bra with reinforced side sling design. It is free of cookies, padding, and lining. It has stretch elastic on the neck edge for ease of fit. It is a matt simplex fabric (88% Nylon, 12% Elastane/Spandex) for uplift and support. The wire casing is cushioned. There is a leotard back with 2 row and 3 column back hook and eye closure for support and prevention of slippage. The limited stretch bra straps are 7/8" wide and provide great comfort all day without digging in. The powernet back has side coverage that provides great anchorage. The seamless sides are 4 ½" long to hold the girls.

If you loved the Floral Lace, you will love the Rose. It is almost identical with just a few minor changes to the floral design, and overall structure. The fit is the same and it is for full figure woman. It provides all the uplift, shaping, and support that you would need. It can be an everyday bra. It is one of the prettier full figure bras that provides good fit and comfort.

Lingerie in the '60s

The sixties is always thought of as the era of the mini-skirt and associated swinging designs.  But it didn't start out like that.  It all started in London, where I was living at the time. We'd just got through the '50s, which was still an age of austerity in England and much of Europe.

Not a mini-skirt in sight when I finished my compulsory service in the Royal Air Force in 1962.  Skirts were well below the knee, and the glimpse of a petticoat showing below it was very much to be deplored.

The USA was even more conservative, although there was much talk of 'Swinging London' when I visited in '66.  A couple of years earlier, a Swiss colleague had been asked to leave a restaurant in New York because he had a beard.  If you watch a '60s TV show such as "Get Smart" notice how the villains have foreign accents, and wear beards!

I guess it must all have started with the new general availability of "The Pill", as it was referred to.  The young ladies in London, initially, then all over the country, suddenly realised they didn't need to keep the boys under control, they could afford to tempt them!  The designers leapt at this opportunity to bring out new shorter skirts and dresses, and shorter, and shorter...

Another trend had to come into play here, for years girls had worn stockings, usually held up by suspenders,(garters) which hung from a suspender belt, or frequently a girdle.  Much effort was spent to ensure these did not show under the skirt, much like the VPL these days, for fear it would inflame the boys' ardour!

Now with the shorter skirt, stocking tops and all the accoutrements were in view if the girl leant over a little. This would not do, so some idiot invented the pantyhose, or tights (modified dance tights), the ugliest item of female clothing ever (Male opinion). Men's fantasies of women's hosiery were shattered overnight.

The designers had a field day, or several years of them.  Now it was quite possible that underwear, panties or knickers, would be glimpsed, if not displayed, so they had to be redesigned and given an endless array of colours and patterns.

At the other end of the body the once heavily disguised, or embarrassingly peeked bra strap and now part of the decoration, along with two or three more sets of straps.  Women's Bras became a subject that men could mention with only a little embarrassment.  A Plus Size Bra was still in the future.

So began a long era of new designs and different approaches, though we are condemned to see them being re-invented every few years.

Why Must Bra Straps Fall?

You've read up on the proper way to wear a bra. You understand the support is supposed to come from the band around the bottom of the bra. There's only one problem. Your bra straps keep falling off your shoulders and driving you nuts. Why must bra straps fall?

Bra straps can be insanely aggravating. This is particularly true if you are wearing a top wear they can get loose. Slowly you feel them edging towards the outer edge of your shoulder. The minute you reach for something and are distracted, they dive off your shoulder down to your elbow or as far as they can go. It isn't a good look. Even if you catch the straps slipping, it is incredibly annoying to continually have to deal with them.

If you have strap slippage problems, there are a couple of things you can do. The first is obvious - adjust the straps! Sometimes, you can buy an "ender bra". What is an ender bra? It is bra that you try on with the adjustments already set at one end or the other of the available choices. When you go to adjust anything, you find that it is impossible because you are already using the last possible adjustment. Watch out for ender bras!

What if you've tried adjusting the straps this way and that with no luck? There are two possible issues. The first is you need to go down a band size. In doing so, you are going to get more strap adjustment capability, which might take care of things. If a lower band size doesn't fit, it may be time to take a look at a different style and brand of bra. Every bra from every brand is different, so you might find the solution in making this simple change.

There are some other factors to consider. The first might be that your bra is worn out. The straps tend to reveal this when elasticity is lost. Don't mistake straps that are worn out for loose ones. Replace your bra when it wears out because a worn out bra does not provide the support you need.

The second issue might be your anatomy. The idea of bra sizes is somewhat of a laughable one. We do not come in particular sizes. In fact, our two breasts don't even match each other. How then are we supposed to find a standard bra?! With this in mind, there may not be a perfect bra for you. In such a situation, you want to find the bra that fits best regardless of strap slippage. Once you have it, consider buying strap supports. These effectively connect the straps up behind your neck and keep them from sliding down.

Sliding bra straps can be a serious pain in the derriere. Still, give some thought to why they are sliding. The answer could give you some insight into whether you are wearing the right bra size or not.
